Summer Series: Part Two

Yeah! I actually am adding to the summer series… I know y’all are proud of me! Three blog posts in a week. I’m on fire. I’m kidding… I actually just had a kid free week so all of my time was devoted to the business instead of splitting it between the business and my babies. I loved getting caught up on some back work but I will take time with my kids any day over a few extra blog posts!

Here is another example of what the client ordered for their images! I think that this is helpful along with the other posts that I will be sharing to show how I shoot children (ha… this always makes me laugh now even though the phrase has been one I have used my entire adult life. One of my friend’s called attention to it and (yeah cynthia!) thinks that my slogan should be “I would rather be shot by Meghan McSweeney!”). Anyway, I digress… the way that I shoot the majority of my sessions with older children is that I find a spot for them that works well for the composition as well as the lighting but I don’t really pose them. I let them do their thing and find that it helps me capture their personalities in a easier manner. For instance, I think that personalities of these two little people really shine through in this session!
